1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of gadgetora.co.uk (the “Website”) and any purchases you make through it. By accessing the Website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Website at the time of your order will apply to that order. We recommend you save or print a copy for your records.

These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

2. Eligibility

By placing an order, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age;
• You are a consumer purchasing for personal, non-commercial use (for B2B enquiries, please contact b2b@gadgetora.co.uk);
• You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract;
• You are resident in a country to which we deliver.

3. Products & Information

We take care to ensure product descriptions, images and specifications on the Website are accurate. However, we cannot guarantee that all content is error-free or complete at all times. Product images are for illustrative purposes; actual items may vary slightly. We reserve the right to correct errors, update listings or discontinue products at any time without prior notice. We recommend you verify critical specifications before purchase.

4. Orders & Contract Formation

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. A legally binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. Until that point, we reserve the right to decline or cancel your order.

We may decline or cancel an order for any of the following reasons:

• The product is out of stock or no longer available;
• A pricing or description error was identified;
• We are unable to verify payment or the payment is declined;
• We suspect fraudulent, unauthorised or unlawful activity;
• We are unable to deliver to your location;
• Events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

5. Pricing, Currency & Payment

All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

Currencies: Prices may also be displayed in EUR (€), USD ($), CAD (C$), AUD (A$) and NZD (NZ$) for your convenience. The currency applicable to your order will be confirmed at checkout. If your card is denominated in a different currency, your card issuer may apply its own exchange rate and fees, for which we are not responsible.

Accepted payment methods: We accept Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards only. All card payments are processed securely. We do not store your full card details on our systems.

Payment security: All transactions are protected by SSL encryption. We apply fraud prevention measures including 3D Secure authentication where required. We reserve the right to carry out additional verification checks prior to processing your order.

6. Your Right to Cancel (Consumers)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to cancel before the 14-day period expires. You may do so by:

• Emailing us at info@gadgetora.co.uk with your order number and a clear statement of cancellation;
• Using the returns process described in our Return & Refund Policy.

Once you have notified us, you must return the goods to us within 14 days. You are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent. We will issue a full refund — including your original standard delivery charge — within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of postage, whichever is earlier. Refunds will be made to your original payment method.

Please note: the right to cancel does not apply to items that have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for hygiene or health reasons, or to items that have been personalised or made to order.

7. Delivery

We deliver worldwide from the United Kingdom. Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by customs, carrier disruption or events beyond our control.

8. Returns & Refunds

In addition to your statutory right to cancel, we offer a 30-day return window for items that are unused, in original packaging and in a resalable condition. Items must be returned with proof of purchase.

Faulty or incorrect items will be replaced or refunded at no cost to you in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. For full conditions and instructions, please see our Return & Refund Policy.

9. Consumer Rights Act 2015

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If your item does not meet these standards, you may be entitled to:

• A full refund within 30 days of purchase;
• A repair or replacement after 30 days;
• A partial or full refund if repair or replacement is not possible.

These statutory rights are in addition to, and not limited by, any other remedies set out in these Terms.

10. Warranty

Many products sold on GadgetOra include a minimum 12-month manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised modification or fair wear and tear. For full details, see our Warranty Policy.

11. Accounts & Security

If you create an account on the Website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity carried out under your account. Please notify us immediately at info@gadgetora.co.uk if you suspect any unauthorised access or use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where misuse is suspected.

12. Intellectual Property & Acceptable Use

All content on the Website — including text, images, logos, product descriptions and design elements — is owned by or licensed to Apple and Blackcurrant Limited and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content from this Website without our prior written consent.

13. Our Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apple and Blackcurrant Limited shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage;
• Loss of profit, revenue, data, business or anticipated savings;
• Losses not caused by our breach of these Terms;
• Losses arising from your own negligence or misuse of our products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that order.

We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and aim to provide a resolution within 14 business days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate your complaint to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider — see Section 15 below.

15. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you have the right to refer the dispute to an independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme. We are committed to working with ADR providers where required.

Nothing in this section prevents you from pursuing your statutory rights through the courts of England and Wales.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

18. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect from the date they are published on the Website. Your continued use of the Website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users by email.
